Dr. Yutkin has mastered all major techniques of Reproductive Embryology including ICSI, IMSI, PICSI, oocyte and embryo vitrification, assisted hatching (laser, mechanical); blastomere, polar body and trophectoderm biopsy; FISH testing; quality control and management of Andrology and Embryology Laboratories.

Dr. Yutkin regularly participates in professional workshops and conferences. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the Russian Association of Human Reproduction (RAHR).

He is a laureate of the national "Crystal Vial 2010" award and the V.A. Lukin "Embryologist of the Year" award as well as a winner of the RAAS grant for young scientists in 2000.

In 1996, Dr. Yutkin graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K.I. Skryabin. After graduation, he joined a full-time postgraduate programme for the degree of Candidate of Sciences. In 1999, he defended his candidate's thesis. He dedicated nearly 7 years to the research of Mammalian Embryology. The key focus areas included: a microinjection of recombinant constructs into the pronucleus of a mammalian zygote, nuclear transfer into enucleated oocytes and IVM of oocytes. Dr. Yutkin has extensive hands-on experience in the culturing of various cell lines.

In 2015, Dr. Yutkin undertook a 5-day theoretical and practical course in Embryology in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In 2012, he completed a professional development programme on Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis at the Institute of Advanced Training of the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia.

In 2009, he took a practical course on the Cryoconservation of Ovarian Tissue by Means of Vitrification at the Ulm University (Germany).

In 2002, he received training at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich where he mastered the foreign technology of somatic cell nuclear transfer into enucleated oocytes aimed at animal cloning.

His experience in IVF totals 12 years.

His professional and research interests include oocyte vitrification, trophectoderm biopsy, mitochondrial transfer.

Presently, Dr. Yutkin works at the Department of Embryology of the European Medical Center (EMC).
