In 2001, Dr. Nefedova graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry.
In 2001-2002, she received her clinical internship training in «Obstetrics and Gynecology» at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of General Medicine of Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry.
In 2003-2005, she underwent clinical residency training at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education operating at City Clinical Hospital №72.
In 2005, she started practicing as a fertility specialist conducting IVF, controlled ovulation induction cycles, artificial insemination
, IVF with donor oocytes
and IVF with surrogate mothers.
Apart from the certificate in "Obstetrics and Gynecology", Dr. Nefedova has certificates in "Ultrasound diagnosis in Obstetric and Gynecological Practice" and "Pediatric Allergy and Immunology". Additionally, she completed a training course on "New Methods for the Restoration of Human Reproductive Function: In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer
to the Uterine Cavity" at the Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology.
Alexandra Nefedova is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the Russian Association of Human Reproduction (RAHR).
She participates in national and international conferences in Reproductive Medicine.
Her research and practical interests include external and internal endometriosis
and ultrasound monitoring of the reproductive function in infertile women.
Currently, Dr. Nefedova works at the Department of Women's Health of the European Medical Center (EMC).
